Arkansas State’s Corey Rucker Named Nominee for 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team
Arkansas State wide receiver Corey Rucker has been named a nominee for the 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, one of the most prestigious honors in college football that recognizes excellence in community service, leadership, and academic achievement.
Rucker was selected from a record-breaking pool of 197 student-athletes nationwide. The honor highlights individuals whose impact off the field is as significant as their performance on it.
The award, created in partnership between Allstate, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), and the Wuerffel Foundation, celebrates those who devote themselves to causes larger than the game—whether through mentorship, outreach, or volunteer service. Each fall, 22 players and one honorary coach are officially named to the final Good Works Team.
Corey’s nomination reflects his unwavering commitment to others and the example he sets as both a student-athlete and community leader. His recognition stands as a testament to his character and the leadership qualities he brings to Arkansas State and beyond.
Rucker, a senior from Benton, Mississippi, continues to be a standout both on and off the field.
